Hall Rental

If you would like to rent the Parish Hall (CYO Hall), you will need to complete all the following steps:
1. Contact the office through email, phone or fill out the form at the bottom of the page to with the desired date and reason for the rental. Please note that the reason for the rental cannot be contrary to the practices, beliefs, and teachings on matters of faith and morals of the Roman Catholic Church.
2. The Parish Office will contact you to confirm your reservation.
3. Once your request has been reserved, you will need to insure your event through an external provider, Acera Insurance:- the entire process is done online - and can be found here.
- Enter "Sacred Heart Cathedral Whitehorse" as the location
- You will be asked questions regarding your event, including the amount of liability damage to purchase
- Important: when selecting limit of liability - you must select $2 Million or insurance will be void
- You can find the estimate cost of the insurance for your event here
to the office to finalize the rental by signing the contract, paying the rental fee and the service deposit.

If you do not purchase insurance with a limit of liability for $2 million damage, the reservation will be cancelled.

FEE

We ask for a flat fee $300 for a day to use both our hall and our kitchen.
The service deposit is another $300.
If you need a day before to set up the event it will be additional $150 / day.

Service deposit

Your deposit will be forfeited if:
1. The hall is left dirty or unclean.
2. Your event finished past the agreed end time.
3. You have played the music too loud during the mass celebrations in the church.
